Stainless steel is a suitable material for knives that are exposed to humidity. This kind of knifes are e.g. fillet knives, fish knives and altogether knives that are used in the kitchen. The blades withstand humidity but because of the wooden handles, the knifes should not be washed in a dishwasher.
